This game is bad. Do not get it.

i really like this game - win some - lose some - learn some too. The scoring is not the best, but very additicting and a QUIETER version of a Lingo style game (a big plus here).

I love the game, but it keeps cutting out if I leave it for a long amount of time. They should have a way to save your progress. I also cant find any game support.

Would enjoy it more if they used "everyday" words.

Why dont you try using words that are actually words youve never heard in your life.

Its just difficult enough to be challenging and easy enough not to be frustrating. Nothing fancy about it ( I dont recall having to turn off music like every other game), but totally adeqaute in every way...well then again, I dont recall a help file, which seems par for the course anyway. Get this. Dont ask much from it, and you may find yourself playing it over and over, like me.

Unknown word definition never changes from the first word guessed. Please fix.

This game freezes frequently. For his reason I decided to purchase the actual GSN version of Lingo.

...how the scoring works. Sure, solve the word in fewer tries and get more points - that makes sense. But triple-digit scores and more? How are such miracles achieved?

I have an English degree, and was an English teacher for years. The words used are moronic. "Shirk," "Plait?" Really? Those are actual words used. How bout, "Sdghu;" why not "Yjued?" Its a GAME, designers!?! People would like to play, and have FUN! Its hard enough to guess one of a MILLION possible 5 letter words, without choosing from aNOTHER million that only exist in your freak-boy dictionary. Stupid, idiotically-designed game. The designers should hung from a "Shwqt" by their "Dfpoks.".

The words they use are words un existent in the English dictionary!

NO FIRST LETTER TO START THE WORD! MY HIGH SCORE IS 2145. I WAS AT 1900 AND I GOT NO FIRST LETTER TO START THE WORD. IT DOESNT RESPOND WHEN THERE IS NO FIRST LETTER! THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME. FIX IT FOR HEAVENS SAKE. I HAD RATED THE GAME AT 3 UNTIL THEY FIXED A DIFFERENT BUG. NOW I AM RATING AT 1. FIX THE BUGS, FIX THE BUGS, FIX THE BUGS! Now it has happened a third time.

Have been playing this one for years--usually with my kids. Loved it. However on hard level, 5 word we have recently been treated to such uplifting gems as *unts--; (starting with c), and dykey. Finally we got skimo--slang for snow mobile. Slang and obscene terms should not be included merely to make a level "hard." Would you please use a regular dictionary--obscure terms are fine, obscenities and slang are not.

Dont like the update. The words are obscure, you dont get a definition of them and have to put up with the ad to buy solitaire after every game. We really enjoyed the old version.

What happened to this formerly enjoyable word game!?! Some genius decided we need to figure out words few people are familiar with! Really obscure words that have made this game nothing but annoying!

Went South in a Blaze of...FILL IN THE BLANK yourself!!! Used to be quite enjoyable to play. No plurals. Limited foreign words; just those that actually might be used by our society. Now...well, I was looking for a great word game when I found the ORIGINAL. Guess Ill begin my search again.

Was an enjoyable game but now uses words that are very obscure and stupid. Im going to delete it. Not fun any more.
